A local leader of an international organization was passionate about reaching his people. But there was a problem.

Anyone who shared Jesus with them was subject to harsh persecution, including imprisonment!

What was he to do? He threw himself into mission studies. How to share in a way that convinced people to listen. How to communicate Biblical truth in compelling ways. But none of it seemed to work. No matter what he tried, the people around him were not interested in ideas they considered to be foreign.

One day, he met someone who shared incredible stories about God moving powerfully in some of the most difficult places in the world! How was this possible? What was his evangelism technique? What books had he studied to become so effective? But when the man told him of his strategies, he was utterly disappointed.

He simply let the people read the Bible and discuss it for themselves, and encouraged them to put what they learned into practice, and teach their friends and family to do the same.

*No way it could be that simple! *But, it was worth a shot. The local leader approached the man for training in what he called a Discovery Bible Study. Eventually, he stopped trying to come up with persuasive arguments to get people interested in Jesus. He just organized meetings for them to read stories about Him for themselves. It was initially received well, but he was blown away by what began to happen before his eyes.

People were getting baptized and starting to baptize others!

The local leader changed everything about his ministry. He doubled all of his efforts to facilitate reproducing DBS’. He began to spend the majority of his time coaching emerging leaders who had become followers of Jesus and were leading groups.

It wasn’t enough.

These people were *unreached. *There had been virtually *no *witness of Christ in his culture throughout all of history. That meant there were millions of them, who had never heard the Good News. He didn’t want to just reach some. He wanted to work with them to make sure they all had an opportunity to know Him. That’s when his trainer told him about Waha.

Waha made it easier to facilitate DBS groups because it automated the process. No one had to be taught how to facilitate a meeting the way he did.

He decided to test it out.

He was coaching about seven leaders, all of whom were overseeing networks of hundreds of groups that had multiplied around eight times. He decided to equip just two of the leaders with Waha and come back in every months time to compare their growth against the rest. He empowered them with the app and gave them six months.

When he returned he was blown away by the speed at which these two leaders groups were now multiplying.
